Shiloh Farm & Retreat is located near Louisburg, North Carolina, which is one hour north of Raleigh/Durham and the Research Triangle Park. The farm is open year-round and we sell pasture-raised meat and eggs in addition to vegetables, fruits, honey and flowers in season.

Everything at Shiloh Farm is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Our meat is raised without the use of antibiotics or growth stimulants. We believe that by building rich, mineralized soil, we can produce the best taste and the best nutrition in our meats, eggs and produce. We use sustainable soil-building techniques to add nutrients to the soil. These techniques include crop rotation, addition of composted plant material and animal manure, and use of cover crops. We believe that animals raised in natural environments and provided a high-quality diet will produce the best-quality meat and eggs.

We sell our meats, vegetables, flowers, fruits and eggs through our pre-paid Preferred Buyer’s Program and at local farmers’ markets. For more information on how to purchase our farm products, click on the How To Get It section of our website.

We enjoy having visitors to the farm so let us know if you’d like to come out and see first-hand how we raise our animals and crops. We also make on-farm sales of our products by appointment. Please keep in mind that we need to schedule your visit in advance and that we do have constraints during the active growing season based on our work schedule.

We also host two open house/farm tours each year – one in the spring and one in the fall. Anyone interested in visiting and seeing what we do on our farm is invited to attend and stay for the potluck meal that follows.
